It's such a nice one, gleaming in all black and it works, and for $3.00! Looks virtually like new. It's a nice companion to my Electro GSN. I'll try to post a picture. I haven't used the GSN much, and have yet to use the GT, obviously. Mostly, I just like old cameras. I do use them from tiem to time. If I had more time, I'd shoot more film. I've got several cameras and lately they've been unused. Pentax K2, Konica Autoreflex T, Konica Auto S3, the Yashicas mentioned above, Kodak Retina IIIc, and a couple of old Argus C4's. |

Congrads! The Electros have lenses that approach Leica quality. The exposure system always gave me spot-on Kodachromes. In my pro years(70s to 90s),I ignored the Yashica,as the tourist trap stores in NYC had stacks of them;but once I tried one,it took a permanent place in my armoratium;sometimes its the only one I take with me. I was given a Yashica 35 a little over a year ago. It's one of the sweetest cameras that I have. The 1.9/45 Yashinon lens is as sharp as any, and the camera handles so smoooooothly. I don't use it enough. |
