Hi, I'm new here.  This site has been extremely helpfull to me by searching the archives for questions about my camera. I had the problem where you wind the cocking arm several times before the latch for the mirror box finally catches. Using information I found here I was able to locate and solve the problem (for now). The problem was a rubber bumper that appears to be on it's way to being a blob of goo. I cleaned it up good and dabbed a small amount of silicone lube onto the pivot.
My question is where to get a suitable replacement for this little rubber sleeve. It seems ok for now, but being that it is in a state of decay I don't think it will be long..... Does anyone have some experience with this? If it helps here is a picture with an arrow pointing to the problem area. Thanks for any help or insight.

Shoe heel rubber seems to work as replacement for most camera stops. Just cut and shape with an X-acto knife.
