I just bought a used rolleicord. But I can't open the camera. I read the complete rolleicord manual but I can't seem to find the answer! Any ideas on how to open it?
Look below the lower lens on the front - there should be a little silver metal tab extending forward from the bottom edge of the camera. Pull this tab down, and the back will swing open (it's hinged at the upper rear corners).
On my Va, on the camera base, there is a rotating lock tab lying on top of the hinged tab. Rotate the lock tab counter-clockwise then pull down on the hinged tab.
