In my Fed - 5B, the shutter's "B" function doesn't work as it should. When I hold finger at the button for about five seconds, the shutter closes after about 0,5 second. What is the problem? |

2 possible simple reasons if all other times work: - check the release plate (underneath the camera), it should be adjustable. - check the curtain tension. Possibly the second curtain is too weak. |

Another possibility is that the shutter release button might be sticky and not coming back up immediately when you let go of it: FEDs tend to be lubricated with a blend of beeswax, tank tread grease and rubber cement that can get a bit stiff with age..... |
