Hi all, I have a Zeiss Contaflex Prima that worked flawlessly on my first roll of film. Now in the mid of the second roll the advance lever seem to have disengaged from the film transport sprocket. Even the mirror that should be lowered by the action of the advance lever has blocked mid-way. The advance lever moves freely but with no effect. I read that this camera is difficult to open so I would like to know if the problem described can be repaired or not.

I have a sketch for getting the lever and top cover off, but I don't know if this will get you to where the problem is. It should be a start in the right direction at least. Email me at [email protected] if you would like a copy. |
