Hey there, I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix a spring motor for an old Filmo 70 16mm camera. It's either too wound up or its just jammed; either way, the spring wont wind up. Any info is great. Thanks. |

First a warning, that spring might be tight and waiting to fly possibly with injury, Wear safety goggles . Next some access is through The turret opening, If this model has a lens turret remove center screw. Also there is a dog that gets gummy and probably is, it has to be cleaned with some spray lube. Whatever you do don't remove or undo the spring tang. Work the run button while watching to see if there is movement in the escapement that traps the claw mechanism. It too might be gumed up. Usually winding will not jam unless there is some other problem, just hope that the spring isn't broken. Let me know if this helps..good luck, by the way are you looking for a b&h sound projector..pay the shipping and it's yours...Don |

I'm afraid not, even most of the online sites come up nil. The other place would be national camera if they are still in business. Don |
