I had a problem of infinity focus with SMC Takumar 300 f:4 . As I had already seen how to tune that on a SMC takumar 135 2.5. So I have done the same thing here without dismounting the lens, by following the procedure below:
1) loose a bit the 3 screew of the external focus ring
2) tune the focus ring slightly by moving the infinity mark
3) tighten the 3 screws again
The problem is that the focus on infinite is good now but cannot be changed to lowest focus distance . The focus ring turns well in direction of the lowest distance but doesn't drag along the lens barrel as before and it turns in vaccuum.
Nothing seems to have been broken and there is no particular noise inside the lens.
Has somebody already had this kind of problem and resolved it ? |
