I have a Nikon fe2 and the film has stopped advancing at the 24th pic. It will, however, allow me to wind it with the double exposure tab pulled, but is jammed when i try to advance to the next shot on my roll. Should i rewind the film and try to advance back to where i started? Any help would be greatly appreciated... THanks!

sounds like you're at the end of the roll--if not maybe the film leader is not adequately into the take-up spool so that the film is bunched up around the take up spool. I would rewind the film and try another roll--preferably a dummy.
