Hi folks, I just acquired a very nice AF35ML (Autoboy Super) which works perfectly. The only downside is that there is a bit of fungus on the front element and a larger area on the back element probably because the camera has been stored in its snug fitting case. Unfortunately, because the shutter is between the lens and the camera body I can only see this rear patch for a 1/4 of a second at a time (the longest exposure time that this camera has). Does anyone know if there is a method of keeping the shutter open or failing that, can the whole lens module be screwed out from the front using a friction tool. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks Howard |

Not sure about this model, but by that time many of the lenses were mounted in snap-fitting plastic bezels and cannot be unscrewed from the front like traditional metal construction. |

Thanks Rick, I think I'll leave it alone. I don't want to wreck it. I'll put a film through it and see how it goes. Thanks for your input. Howard |
