I have just bought a Dakota RZ-3000 camera off of Ebay and I have a problem. I'm all new to this type of thing so I'm sorry if this is a common question but the film advance lever will not move more than 30degrees even if the camera is on and everything is set the way is should be. The shutter release button makes no noise when I press it and the batterys are all new, and this problem still occurs when there is film in it although it isn't loaded properly since the advance lever doesn't move. If anyone has any experiance please comment no matter what type of camera, any help is needed! thanks |

I had never heard of a Dakota RZ-3000 before; from what I can see on a couple of eBay listings it looks like one of the Chinese Minolta clones. My guess is that the shutter is already wound, and it won't wind again until it fires. If the batteries are good, it sounds like the camera is probably bad, and if you just bought it you might be wise to try to reurn it and try again. It might be something that could be fixed easily, and it might not, but with a new purchase this should be the seller's problem, not yours. |
