I took the cover off of my Graflex shutter (135mm Optar) and a coil spring fell out. I can not figure out where it goes. Two other parts fell and but I got them back where they belong. Does anyone have a picture of the insides of this shutter or know it one is available on-line so I can find out where this spring goes? Brian |

Thanks Dan. My shutter seems a little more complex; maybe it's the bi-polar flash connection. Definitely more works than your photos show. I'll look and see what matches what and see if the photos help. Brian |

It sounds like you have the top version with the full sync. Download the manual and look at pages 11 and following. Pages 12 and 13 show the synchronizer. |

Thanks again Dan. After looking at the manual, it looks like the high speed spring. I owe you. If you ever work on a Contaflex, I have a copy of the service manual for the I, II, III and IV. Brian |
