I have a Yashica 35 GSN and the red (over)light does not come on either on top or in the viewfinder. The Yellow (slow) light is working. Is there a way to check this function and fix it? |

Yes, repairing is very probably possible. Maybe is only bad light bulb or broken wire. |

Hello Charles; You can access to the bulbs removing top cover. See photo at: http://album.nikon-image.com/nk/NImageAlbum.asp?key=243.197841&src=5564010&un=67169&m=0&pos0=1 We are seeing same lamp in the view finder and the indicator on the top cover. ynz |

I have had luck in using conductive epoxy instead of solder on a GSN repair. I wasn't confident in my soldering skills but bought a rear window defroster repair kit in an auto parts store and used that epoxy to reconnect the wire from the battery compartment to the battery test switch pcb. |
