After years of faithful service this lens fell and I had to replace the helicoid. Since then the blades acquire oil and I need to take the back off and wipe the oil away with a cotton swab. After a week or so the oil comes back.
I imagine I need to take this lens COMPLETELY apart and get rid of the oil/grease.
Can anyone help with instructions on how to do this?

I appreciate any feedback
Andy

It sounds like the grease or oil in the helicoid is seeping onto the diaphragm. If you've already taken the helicoid out it should be easy enough to remove it and clean it up. Alcohol on the diaphragm may help dissipate the contaminating oil and allow it to be effectively mopped up.
