Basically any of the lubricants normally used for any part will do. If you intend to buy something do a search on the forum and you will find some suggestions. |

Dirk, Loctite do a White Lithium based grease that does not creep or move all over the place. Also model shops sell grease suitable for metal and plastic parts,Tamiya market one for their remote control car kits.I use the Loctite product because I acquired a tube for another job and a tube lasts for ever,so it was handy. There are also a number of dry film PTFE based products that are ideal for this type of application. The amount of grease that is required for the exposure compensation dial is so small that almost any general purpose grease could be used.I work on the principle that if lubrication is needed, then any suitable lube is better than nothing.A smear of a good quality high melting lithium bearing grease from your garage, will do far less harm than reassembly without any lubrication at all. As stated, a search in the archives will give a number of suitable products that you can use. Glenn |

Hi thanks, As maintenance engineer I know that a hi speed bearing lube might be suitable. It contains lithium for a higher meltingpoint. So i'll take a little bit from my work ! Thanks a lot Dirk |
