Looking for opinions on shutter testers, commercial or home built. Preferably one that will handle both leaf and focal plane types. The only one I have used was a Zimmerman Tehnical Services unit. Nice device, but way out of my price range. Any feedback welcome. |

The old fashioned method for leaf shutters was a record turntable and a record with a visible mark on the rim. |

I bought a Camlogix SH-T2 a couple of years ago and have found it very good. Seems to be accurate on any type of shutter I've used it on. They sometimes appear on eBay. Roger |

I bought a backup tester from Fargo Enterprises several years ago -- one of my sub-contractors used it for a while without difficulty. Seems to me it was not too pricy. It's gathering dust now.... |
