My Minolta X-700 has suddenly refused to trip the shutter. The diodes light up in the viewfinder, but the shutter won't trip nor will it advance. I've replaced the batteries but that didn't help. It sort of feels like the shutter is cocked. Is there any way to try and trip the shutter through the bottom of the camera? HELP! |

Yes, you can trip it manually from the bottom, but the problem is most likely The Minolta Dead Release Capacitor Problem with lots of good advice for diagnosing and repairing inexpensively- just do a search here and ask if you need further help. |
