I need to open up my TTL meter prism to clean the insides which are really dirty. How do i do so? Thank you. KC |

Thank you very much for your advice. I have checked the above sites, but it seems my TTL meter is not the same as the ones used on the Kiev. They are the ones from Pentacon. Thanks again. KC |

Sorry, couldn't find anything more specific on the Pentacon prism but thought the Kiev info might start you in the right direction if the bottom cover on the Pentacon was similar to the Kiev. On the 60, just removing that bottom cover gives you access to most of the interior for cleaning with a red sable brush, some canned air and a mini-vac . . . and the ever popular Q-tip moistened with Ronsonol for the nasty bits . . . :>) You might try emailing the owner of http://www.pentaconsix.com/ , he may have more specific info on opening the prism (didn't see anything on the site but . . . |
