Hi, I'm having trouble with the slow speed timer on my exakta varex. The slow speed knob can be turned through about 90 degrees clockwise. When the shutter is released the timer runs out in about 1.5 seconds regardless of what time it is set to. I think it should be possible to wind the slow timer over more than 90 degrees, I am under the impression that I can't wind it fully. I have seperated the frame from the body casing using the guide at exaktaphile.com and I can't see anything obviously wrong. Does anyone else have an idea? regards, Jan |

Thanks for the sketches, they look really good! The mechanism on my varex IIb is slightly different from the one you sketched, but I can see that there is something wrong with my timer now. |
