I have a 30's vintage Rollei camera that is missing a couple of screws. One has been replaced with a "modern" screw which isn't the right sized head or threads.

Before I just try cramming new screws in those holes to find one that fits, can anyone tell me if Rollei was using standard metric threaded fasteners at that time?

the screws that went into the chassis castings had very coarse threads, almost more like the "plastic" screws today than the regular fine metric thread. Screws going into steel or brass internal parts were, as far as I recall, standard metric series.
