Light seal at hinge end of back has perished/disintegrated.
Seal was around 39mm x 4mm but I'm not sure how thick it should be.
Any advice on suitable material for replacement?
Thanks.

Contact Jon Goodman who trades as Interslice on eBay.His light seal kits are probably the best and cheapest around. You will find numerous posts from him in the archive,if you care to look.

Hello, ism...and thanks Glenn and Tim!
The hinge end seal is 1.5mm thick, and you may use either foam or fabric seal for it. Personally, I prefer the fabric seal. There is a small screwhead which protrudes in this area, and to me the fabric seal seems to work around it much better. I have written instructions with images for the OM-2s (same model, actually), and I will send them by e:mail if you need. Please e:mail me at Jon_Goodman@yahoo.com and put something about light seal in the heading.
Best regards,
Jon
