I need a rewind shaft and all offical sources report part as no longer available. Can anybody suggest a source for the part or even where I might find an extra body for spares? Not the easiest model to find parts for...

A nice kit (camera + 2 lenses and flash,instructions)sold on eBay UK (18/9/05) for £28.80.So it appears that a spare working body is not going to break the bank.Following advice given by another forum member,I have been able to obtain Nikon and Pentax spares from UK repair firms.The items came from their stock of breakers but were both fairly priced and in good condition. |

I believe this part is the same as was used in late model Pentax K1000 cameras, so it should still be available. |
