The light meter of my Petri Color 35 is not working (nothing happens). The battery check however is working (the needle of the light meter is moving up). Does anybody know how to fix this problem? |

The meter switch is in the botom, next to the battery box - check that first, since it's easiest to reach, and while you're in there check the continuity from the battery box to the switch - you could have a failed solder joint or wire at the battery terminal. If you have to reach the meter movement itself, email me for a sketch of the top cover disassembly. |

I would also check the cds cell itself. It is not soldered in but just "floats" behind it's retainer. Also easy to reach by removing the ring around the lens and lifting off the lens name ring. The retainer is held by one screw. Remove it and the cell drops out allowing the contacts to be cleaned. |
