Open camera back. Place a screwdriver or tommy-bar across the film-rewind knob fork to prevent it from revolving. Then unscrew the actual film rewind knob. You will then see a circlip around the shaft. Remove it - and the dial will lift off. Don't disturb the positions of the items below. Clean up whatever damage/solvent melt. Reinstall the dial whilst ensuring it is on the 200 ASA setting. The complete the reassembly per the reverse order of the above. A fairly straightforward job - unless your odd "substance drip" turns out to be half a tube of Superglue ! |
