I have been looking at a sale listing for a MINOLTA HI-MATIC 7SII the listing states everthing works but the appature will not change. "Stays at the smallest setting" Is this a comon problem? Is it an easy fix? Thanks |

It depends... sometimes the aperture blades are just gummed up. Maybe the AE mechanism does not work at all. Maybe there is just a misbent spring in the aperture mechanism. So maybe it is an easy fix, maybe not, you cannot tell from the distance. |

I expect that you know that the aperture only changes when you half-depress the shutter release ? Paul. |
