I have an Agenieux 35-140mm zoom lens. The zoom is slightly rough in a few places. I dare not dismantle this lens and attempt to fix the problem without some sort of recommendation on how to do so. There are quite a few visible screws in the lens barrel. My search for information on how to dismantle this lens has been fruitless to date. Anyone here dealt with these lenses before? Henry. |

I cannot offer any advice on where to find info on Angenieux lenses. However we used a number of Angenieux zooms on 2 Arri 35mm cameras. Because these lenses gave such outstanding results and were adjusted spot on ie focal lengths were exact, we always sent them back to the factory for service. Our service technician was always dying to get his hands on them, because he said they were constructed so well. |

Glenn, Thanks for the reply. The lens I have is for an Arri 2 camera. It does seem to be very well made. I understand there are adapters available to use these lenses on a wide variety of cameras both still and cine. If you ever see any information regarding these lenses please keep me in mind. Thanks From, Henry. |
