Hello,
I have an old (60's-70's) Canon SLR. On a recent batch of photos, I noticed that many of them are showing an upside-down mirror image of part of the picture that is above and to the left of the actual image. You can see this most clearly on night shots, but I've noticed it on some of the day shots as well. I have never seen this before and couldn't find anything about it on the web. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I got to see this! Anyway you could post a scan?
I cannot even think of how a Pellix could do this.
Maybe an internal reflection in the lens?
I nearly suggested you turn your lens right side up... but then realized you were serious.

I have seen some odd lens reflections, if the conditions are just right - hard to visualize it happening in daytime though.
what lens are you using, or does this happen with more than one lens? |

Do you by chance have an uncoated filter on the front of the lens? |

Might be difficult to see, but does the extra image appear on the negatives, or just the prints? Maybe it comes from something they did wrong at the lab. |
