Mamiya c3 shutter release jam

Posted on Thursday, March 02, 2006 - 03:26 pm:        hi, I just bought a used mamiya c3, tried taking some pictures with it and found that the shutter gets jammed. I press down on the release lever and the sutter lever on the other side only rises half way, to get the shutter to actually snap I have to physically push up the the other lever with my left hand... does anyone know if this can be fixed and how i can do it?   Ed Rating: N/A Votes: 0 (Vote!) Posted on Thursday, March 02, 2006 - 07:20 pm:        It is not uncommon the the cocking ring lubrication to get gummy and cause this--take it apart and clean the ring and lens cone where it rotates and relub--lightly--with something molibdimom disulfide--spelling is probably wrong--check to see if it works okay before putting back together.
