Having recieved a LOT of help with Project Praktina, I am now hoping for more. Greedy, aren't I? I have three Sensorexii, one Sensorex II and a "G" in need of repair. All have the same problem, the shutter does not stay open across the entire frame at 1/1000 speed. The Sensorex II also has an inoperative meter (battery checks good in my EE). The G also has an inoperative mirror lock up lever (The main reason I bought it, blast it!) Can anyone tell me how to disassemble/reassemble one or more of these, also where to lube and what to check to bring these beauties up to speed? Is the Sensorex II a better camera than the Sensorex? My working kit is a pair of Sensorexii with various lenses, but if the II is more rugged I may switch. I work in rough, dirty environments and haven't had any troubles yet...but then, I have 14 Sensorex bodies. A man can never have enough spares... |
