Hello,.. I got a Rolleiflex grey baby. But I don’t understand why the distance knob did not rotate smooth. Inside left and right there’s a cam-plate (repair manual page 145 No 106) were I put some new grease but didn’t solve the problem. Turning counter clock wise from eternal is a bit better (smoother) than clock-wise from 1 meter. Does any one have tips? |

Does the front move in and out evenly? It may be sticking at the top or the bottom. This might help explain the problem. |

The front goes in and out fine and symetrical. The camera makes good pictures. Can you be more preciesly? I understand he's some where sticky but still don't understand where. |

With front fully extended, place camera on its back and apply gentle finger pressure evenly across the lens board. Now turn the focus wheel clockwise. If the gentle pressure makes the focus action smoother it is a sure sign that the front panel is binding on the body/supports. |
