Saying where you are would probably help |

He's in the UK. See his email address. John; I will send you some addresses later tonight, when I have checked if they deal with Pentacon kit. They are good and cheap, however you will be able to replace your camera much more cheaply. I am working on the fact that it has sentimental value. If not, just keep as a non working collectors item. |

Send an e-mail to Cupog (his e-bay name). He is in Europe, not very pricey, and does good work on the classic European cameras: [email protected] |

If you draw a blank on Praktica repairs, the Dresden factory still offer a service and list most of the "Classic" models (including the BC1) on their website (www.praktica.de). I sent a Pentacon Six there just before Christmas for a service and upgrade and they did an excellent job on it with a quick turnaround. They're not cheap but it's a refreshing change to find a manufacturer who will even admit to knowing of the existence of cameras they made 20+ years ago! |
