I did not get the original lens hood, so I need a UV or another filter to protect the lens. But I have no idea of the size of the filter, so I ask here. Thanks! |

One reference I have for Werra I Tessar 50mm f2.8 indicates (if my German interpretation is correct) it's 36mm on the outside of the filter ring |

My B+W Filterfabrik 'bible' claims all Werra models (I - IV) with a 50mm f:2.8 Tessar use 36mm push-on or 30.5 screw-in filters. All the best, Jan |

Screw-in 30,5mm hoods are the right ones. I have just screwed one onto my Werra I. They are relatively easy to come by since some modern cameras still use this size. |
