I would like to get referrals for expert repair of Zeiss, Balda, and Agfa 2 1/4 folding cameras from the 50s. I am in the NYC area and would be grateful to find a good source for shutter repair etc of these great old cameras. I also have large format lens. Many thanks Steven |

Since most, if not all, of the 1950s german cameras used Pronto/Prontor or Compur shutters repair manuals or instructions for these shutters will be very helpful. They are available on ebay from time to time. There are also some on-line sources for shutter maintenance, such as Daniel Mitchell's great site www.daniel.mitchell.name or Rick Oleson's page which can easily be found with Google. |

Steve, Do it yourself. Once you see it done, you'll never send your cameras out again. E-me, come on over, I'm in NYC. I'll show you how to do it. |
