Hello...My camera just started acting up. What happens is when I press the shutter release it hangs 'mid' shot. The curtain stops in the middle. If I remove the film and press the curtain (yes, bad I know) it will release and I can get 1-2 shots and it does it again. Any repair advice?

The Minolta X-370 shutter is well known for jumping its tracks. Mine was repaired two or three times before I finally got wise and purchased a better quality camera. I would advise the same course.
