Hi charlie, it's definitely a cut piece, rather than something off the inside. I wonder if the last owner added it to protect against light entering the camera? If yours doesn't have it, I'll not worry too much about gluing it back on. |

If you have the small sliding shield over the red window you should be OK. |

No shield is present on mine - I wonder if that's way this modification was made? I may try a roll through it as is, and then replace the foam if there seems to be a problem. Thanks for your help Charlie! |

D'oh - I forgot to listen to my inner bodger - no sliding cover for the red window? Gaffer tape to the rescue :D I have a roll of film in it now, and will get out and about with it tomorrow. Thanks again Charlie. |
