Hello all,
I recently got a canonet 28 as a present. it seems to work okay, although i havent put a battery in it yet, but it does have one problem - the iso setting lever is stuck at 100. it is REALLY stuck. I figured I need to take the lens apart, but cant figure out how. can anyone help? any links may be? also what battery do i need for it?

i did try a search on this but didnt find anything that would help me take the lens apart. anybody has any info? |

On the Canonet 28 it is necessary to push the lever in (towards the axis of the lens) while changing ASA settings. If you click on "Instruction Manuals" above and scroll down that page you will find a manual for your camera. To download type in "free" for user name and "manuals" for password. A great camera, good luck. |

I tried that ;) it looks like someone has already had this problem, because around this lever there a lot of scratches as if someone has been trying to fix it forcefully. |
