I am new to this forum, and hope that someone out there can help me with a nikkormat EL repair. When using the camera recently I noticed difficulty focusing with lenses that had proven trustworthy on other Nikkormat (Ftn) bodies. The focusing problem seems to be related to the seating of the mirror after exposure. It seems that the after exposure position can vary slightly -- just enough to throw off the focusing. Is there a way to adjust this so that the mirror always rests in the correct position? Thanks. |
