Hi there, I've reasently got hold of a Fujica Mini (half frame)for next to nothing with a stuck aperture and closer. I think the aperture blades only need a good cleaning, but I have no idea how to get to them. Does anyone have an idea? |

Is it the shutter that's a problem? It was on the Fujica Mini I recently found: repeated working of the wind-on/shutter did get it to open a squeak, and then refuse to close completely. Eventually, the solution (in more ways than one) was a dab of Lighter-fluid (Ronsonol) on a cotton-bud ('Q-tip') on the two shutter-blades, allowing it to dry, then re-applying and then working the shutter, carefully wiping with fresh Lighter-fluid. Incidentally, the aperture is operated by what looks like a focussing-arm - but perhaps you knew that. You can do a Google on Fujica Mini, and find a useful lot of data on, e.g., mediajoy. Regards.
