I am embarrassed by this one. I was removing the top to my Minolta SRT 101 following the Minolta repair manual to the T. After I removed the rewind knob & shaft I CLOSED THE CAMERA BACK (like a dummy). Any ideas on how I can get it opened again?

Get a crochet hook small enough to pass down through the hole for the rewind shaft. Let the hook catch on the edge as you pull up on it. You will unlatch the back.

You can remove the bottom plate and push up on the latch plate.

Crochet hook (1.75mm) worked. I didn't have to take off the bottom. Thanks for the help.
