Like a twerp, I decided to set the Self-timer, and now have a jammed shutter. I've successfully opened up a couple of older shutter and carefully put drops of watch oil on pallet pivots, but can't find how to get the front off this shutter. I can remove the focussing-ring - and that's all. Is there some hidden way of attaching the front cover? Do I have to remove the whole thing, and go in through the back? Thanks in advance. Well, with a little well-applied brute force and ignorance, I've got the self-timer to run down, and the shutter to fire: if I'm going to get it running properly, though, I still need to get some watch-oil on those bearings. |
