Hi, My SRT 202 is jammed, no film advance, no shutter release button down, not even rewind button released, and I have been trying to fix it. I know I should have found how far it went in the shutter sequence but have already messed it up. I mean I unhooked a lot of places on the bottom. What I'd like to do is trying do the sequence from the beginning. It is, however, I need to release shutter curtains first in order to do that. Is there anyone who knows where I should unhook to get the curtains back to the released position? Or, Any idea to fix the original problem? Thanks in advance. |

Take a look at these two links and find out whether they are useful: among other things the first one is about the basic function of the SR-T's focal plane shutter, the second link takes you to a SR-T repair manual (101 actually, basic model, very similar to other earlier Minolta SLRs) . http://www.willegal.net/photo/photo-first_page.htm http://www.iespana.es/bowman/minoling02.html Asking is never too late, I hope, W. |

Wernerjb, Thank you for giving me the links. I was impressed about the information on those sites. I have, however, still not been able to find "lever" or "latch" to release shutter curtains. Again, thanks anyway. |
