Success! I just fixed my first camera. A dead Olympus OM-1. Cleaned a big gob of "Never-Seize" or some such gunk out that was caked on the film advance/shutter cock mechanism, and soldered two of those microscopic wires back to make the meter work. Managed to mess up the black trim piece on the film advance lever due to the unorthodox methods I had to employ to remove it,...but live and learn. I feel victorious none the less. |

Good show: It gives one a feeling of accomplishment. My big problem when I started was not having enough sharp screwdrivers....again congrats...Don |
