I had a Minolta XG-M given to me this past week. I took it to a football game to try it out, and it seemed to work fine. Considering I don't know anything about this camera, I've been following the manual's suggestions. However, I completed my roll of film, wound it, took it out, and tried to load a new roll according to the manual. It appears to be correctly loaded into the camera, but the film advance won't work now. It feels loose, like it's not catching anything. I've replaced the batteries and taken the film out and tried a different roll. It still won't work for me. Suggestions? |

Hmmm...you might check to see that the little button on the bottom popped back out...the one you had to push in to rewind the film. If it didn't, your tractor wheels won't catch, and the film won't advance. Jon |

I have the same problem, but I think it might be because the advance film lever was forced back too far, causing something to snap... I'm hoping that that's not the case, since I love this camera so much and I haven't had it for a long time. So if anyone knows what's wrong with the camera please help! |
