My Super program was just locked up after I tried to take a photo using the self timer. After the self-timer LED stopped flashing, the mirror went up, and the shutter opened but it didn't close. Now the camera is frozen. Does anyone have any idea how to close the shutter? Many thanks! |

They'll do this once in a while if you're using old or weak batteries. Have you tried changing the shutter speed to B or bulb, then winding the cocking/wind lever to recock the shutter? |

I just tried to do this. At first I was unable to wind the lever. I put the camera aside and after some time I was able to cock the shutter this way and the camera is reset! ;-) I am glad to have solved the problem. Thanks you! |
