I have a minolta xg9 that has worked well over the years and has barely aged, but for some reason, in the past month, the shutter release button doesnt release the shutter anymore, i have to use the auxiliary release on the body by the lens. I took it apart and put on a longer shaft on the button, but that only fixed part of the issue, now the camera will only shoot in the "b" mode, manually opened shutter, and is therefore, unless i am shooting at night, nearly impossible to get the exposure accurate. any suggestions will be helpful |

dirty, or stuck switch under shutter speed dial. A service manual for an XG7 will work. |
