In the search for those elusive springs to rebuild a Prestor shutter, I've had this company suggested. They certainly supply mighty tiddly springs (in inches, so if you are metricated you'll have to convert), so I've ordered some good approximations and am waiting to see if they work. The downside, so far, is that the minimum order is $40, although when a spring the size of an extremely undernourished worm costs $8 that's not actually too hard to reach. http://www.centuryspring.com/home.htm Hope this helps someone - be warned that I have yet to receive the springs, and am in no way connected to the company! I don't know if they'll have what you need, but smallparts.com has a lot of stuff too. Bob |

Bob, they are the next place I'm trying - this time for music wire. My one concern is how they deliver a 6-foot length - please tell me they roll it (especially as I am after very fine stuff!), rather than sending in a tube! I guess I'll find out when I order... Adrian |

Yeah, music wire will probably come rolled up, looking something like a guitar string.... |
