Henry, grow up. This is a camera restoration forum not a forum discussing ways to undress women! |

Pat, you obviously missed the joke about searching ebay for the lizard skin. At that time there was another ad with a risquely dressed lady in lizard skin. It was a joke. I hope I never grow up too old to enjoy a joke. Henry |

www.cameraleather.com Their kits are well made and good quality. My OM-4T now has a bright red lizard skin and it looks great. |

On the topic of cameraleather.com, I have so far been very happy with their kits. I have ordered a skin for an Olympus 35RC and for a Konica Auto S2, both of which arrived fairly quickly and were very nice. However, in November, I ordered a new skin for a Rolleicord and am still waiting for it. Morgan of cameraleather.com is not answering any of my email after an initial email exchange about the order, so we'll see when I'll be able to finally finish the restoration of that Rolleicord (of course I have already paid for the leatherette in November). Did anybody else have similar experiences with cameraleather.com? - Markus |

I have re-skinned a couple of my Zorki cameras. I buy purses of genuine leathers from goodwill stores for very cheap prices. The last one was a genuine lizard purse for $4.00. The thinness of these skins is usually good for covering a camera. You can sometimes buy an un-colored lizard skin, stain it, polish it, and cut it to fit. I did that the first time, and won't do it again. The purses are so much easier. Now I have a red lizard Zorki 1c and a brown (purse)lizard Zorki 3m. A good rainy day project. |
