I have a Duaflex II with a broken strap and another with a good strap. I'd like to take the good strap off and move it to the other camera, but I can't figure out how to get the pins out the hold the strap in place. They have flat heads so I don't think I can unscrew them. When I tried to pry them off I felt like the box would break first.

Are you sure you need to do anything to the pins? Usually those straps have a little lengthwise slice in them to allow the strap to be stretched over the head of the pin.

I think you're right. I will check it tonight. Thank you for the help.

When removing old leather straps with this type of fastening. - If you find the ends are difficult to push over the pin heads, rub in a small amount of a good wax polish and leave in a warm room overnight. This will make the old leather more supple, thus avoiding the chance of tearing the 'keyhole' in the leather.

Advice was well taken. I was able to stretch the strap over the head of the pin with no problem.
