I recently was given a Kodak Reflex TLR camera, and everything on it looks great (lenses, movements, etc) except about on every 2nd or 3rd shutter click, the shutter moves really slowly. Is this something that can be cleaned with nafta or some other product? Any suggestions? |

Have you tried the "search" function above? Do a keyword search for Kodak shutter, last 900 days and something of use may turn up. |

I have posted some images on flickr.com that illustrate how to service a Kodak Reflex II. The Reflex is very similar, so these might be useful. http://flickr.com/photos/wakingsky/collections/72157603597536191/ Also, Rick Oleson has some great schematic of the Reflex on his web site: http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/index-83.html |

To your question, yes, this can be fixed by cleaning the shutter with lighter fluid. |
