Hello all. I recently purchased a used Minolta X-370 that appeared to be in great condition. However, a few days after the sale, nothing happens when I depress the shutter button. In addition, the film advance lever suddenly won't advance the film and doesn't seem to have much tension to it. Also, I can operate the film advance lever all the way and the take up spool doesn't turn.

Any help is appreciated!

Sounds like a typical capacitor failure or a battery failure followed by the forcing of the wind lever.

If so it's seriously broken now and can't be easily repaired.
