Hi, I stumbled over a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super B this morning at a thrift store, and they're asking $40 for it. Is this kind of on the high side, or do you find it reasonable? It appears to be working very well, though the meter may be a little wonky. I didn't have my reading glasses with me, so I'm not sure what the settings were. Thanks |

Hello. Assuming the camera is functioning well, is in excellent cosmetic condition, the lightmeter is functioning, and the glass is clean and free from fungus, haze, blemishing, or scratching, I would say go for it. I have a Contaflex Super B in an antique mall priced at $95, and I have sold a few in the past for $80-120 [Depending Upon Condition]. I hope this helps. |
